ESOC 2022 | The promise of virtual reality in stroke rehabilitation and post-stroke sequelae

Hanne Huygelier, PhD, KU Leuven – University of Leuven, Leuven, Belgium, talks on potential future avenues for virtual reality (VR) utilization in stroke care. Studies are currently assessing the feasibility studies of VR to enhance rehabilitation for patients are stroke. Dr Huygelier highlights other post-stroke sequelae which could benefit from this technology, including psychiatric disorders. This interview took place at the ESOC 2022 congress in Lyon, France.
