The N1-Headache tool is a digital health platform that uses personalized observations to help patients with migraine track their symptoms, medication use, and identify risk factors. It enables accurate data to be recorded from daily observations obtained from individuals who experience migraines. Christian Wöber, MD, Medical University of Vienna, Austria explains how written records and observations alone don’t provide reliable data for potential triggers. N1-Headache uses complex statistical analysis to provide reliable statistical data. Dr Wöber explains the importance of a minimum 3-month monitoring period and recording of a minimum number of headaches per month to provide sufficient information to allow for valid analysis. This interview took place during the European Academy of Neurology 2021 congress.
