Marte-Helene Bjork, MD, PhD, Haukeland University Hospital, Bergen, Norway, discusses future research directions for the treatment of post-traumatic epilepsy. Key focuses for future research include systematic testing of possible treatments, achieving success in human as well as animal trials, and the development of a treatment to stop post-traumatic epileptogenesis.
