AAN 2021 | How does team science affect young investigator career development?

A team science approach that brings together large teams of investigators is often crucial to the success of translational and clinical research. Large scale collaboration has allowed some of the greatest advancements in neuroscience but can have career development consequences for individual scientists. Mitchell Elkind, MD, MS, FAAN, Columbia University Irving Medical Center, New York, NY, discusses the challenge of demonstrating one’s contributions within a group study when applying for a promotion.
