Susanne Schneider, MD, PhD, University Hospital Munich, Munich, Germany, discusses the treatment options for dystonia including oral anticholinergics, levodopa for dopamine responsive dystonia, botulinum toxin and surgical options such as deep brain stimulation (DBS). Prof. Schneider also discusses the similar developments in Parkinson’s disease, specifically in lysosomal storage disorders.
