CONy 2020 | The unmet needs of migraine patients

Jessica Ailani, MD, MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, Georgetown, Washington, DC, discusses the unmet needs in the migraine field. There are very limited non-oral medication options. For patients with nausea and vomiting, other options are needed as rescue therapy. Additionally, some patients do not respond to current medications. Therefore, there also needs to be more medication targeting different biological pathways other than CGRP. This interview took place during the Virtual World Congress on Controversies in Neurology (CONy) 2020.
