MDS 2022 | Barriers to effective symptom management in Parkinson’s disease

Per Odin, MD, PhD, Lund University, Lund, Sweden, comments on unmet needs in treating Parkinson’s disease, including management of non-motor symptoms. Targeting insomnia, neurological and gastrointestinal symptoms are important steps in addition to treating dyskinesia to improve quality of life in patients, but treatment options remain limited. This interview took place at the 2022 International Congress of Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders in Madrid, Spain.
