IEC 2021 | Genetic diagnosis for patients with epilepsy

Iscia Lopes-Cendes, MD, PhD, University of Campinas, Campinas, Brazil, talks on the progress that has been made on the genetic diagnosis of epilepsy in recent years. While there has been development in the diagnosis of monogenic forms of epilepsy, there is less progress with more complex forms and the research in this area is yet to be applied to a clinical setting.
