AHS 2022 | Current challenges in migraine research

Michael Oshinsky, PhD, National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD, discusses the current challenges associated with migraine research. The most significant limiting factor currently holding back the research community is the number of researchers coming into the field. There is a great need for new ideas and individuals with a strong knowledge of systems associated with migraines to bring new information to the table. This could address the possibility of novel treatment options, targets, and devices that could help progress the treatment capacity of migraines. This interview took place at the 2022 American Headache Society (AHS) Annual Scientific Meeting in Denver, CO.
