Effective medical communication is essential to optimal medical care, including providing accurate diagnoses, designing effective treatment plans, and enhancing patient adherence. The clinician-patient dialogue should include standard communication techniques, such as open-ended questions, to understand the patients’ perspectives and gain better insights into their needs.
