AAN 2022 | The effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on neurology research

Nina Schor, MD, PhD, FAAN, National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, Bethesda, MD explains the many difficulties during the pandemic which affected neurology research. The main impact of the pandemic was a reduction in the workforce due to members of staff contracting COVID-19 or being exposed to someone else who had tested positive. The impact of the pandemic on supply lines for essential materials caused additional delays to research. This interview took place at the American Academy of Neurology 2022 Congress in Seattle, WA.
