ACTRIMS 2022 | The central vein sign: a novel imaging biomarker for MS diagnosis

Pascal Sati, PhD, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, CA, talks on the central vein sign (CVS) as a novel imaging biomarker for diagnosing multiple sclerosis (MS). The CVS is a signature of inflammatory demyelinated lesions within the brain and is a frequent finding in MS, distinguishing MS cases from non-MS. Various criteria are currently being explored based on the proportion and number of CVS lesions for the accurate differentiation of MS versus non-MS. This interview took place at the ACTRIMS Forum 2022 in West Palm Beach, Florida.
