Olivia Thomas, PhD, Karolinska Institute, Solna, Sweden discusses the next steps to be taken in her research into autoantigens and autoreactive T-cell responses in patients with multiple sclerosis (MS). Currently, a library of autoantigen beads is being built upon, which can then be used to probe the autoreactive repertoire of patients with MS. Dr Thomas highlights two main questions they want to answer with this panel, with the ultimate aim of improving diagnostics and patient treatment. This interview took place at the European Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis (ECTRIMS) congress 2021.
