Wiesje van der Flier, PhD, VU University Medical Center, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, highlights the importance of early diagnosis for Alzheimer’s disease. To effectively treat Alzheimer’s disease, an accurate diagnosis must be made before the onset of dementia, where there is the opportunity for patients to receive disease-modifying therapies. This interview took place during the European Academy of Neurology 2021 congress.
