Charles Wilcox, PhD, MPA, MBA, Praxis Research Consulting, Newport Beach, CA, talks on the need to better inform, advise, and inspire caregivers of people with dementia. Caregivers have an indispensable role in the lives of people with dementia, but often feel talked down to and not respected by healthcare professionals. Dr Wilcox discusses the importance of accurately informing caregivers, as well as patients, and listening to their concerns. This interview took place at the European College of Neuropsychopharmacology congress 2021.
