CONy 2022 | Future areas of improvement in treating MS

Xavier Montalban, MD, PhD, MBA, Vall d’Hebron University Hospital, Barcelona, Spain, comments on areas of unmet need in the field of multiple sclerosis, including the demand for novel therapies with neuroprotective or neuroregenerative properties. Prof. Montalban additionally highlights the need to optimize the primary endpoints for MS clinical trials as well as develop more efficient MRI techniques or methods to measure clinical activity. This interview was conducted during the 2022 World Congress on Controversies in Neurology (CONy) meeting.
