Silvia Fossati, PhD, Temple University, Philadelphia, PA, provides an overview of her highlights and key takeaways from the AD/PD 2021 conference, including enjoying the opportunity to learn from researchers working in a diverse range of fields within Alzheimer’s disease (AD), both in the preclinical and clinical settings. She discusses research presented on the aggregation of different amyloid and tau species in AD, as well as the study of different proteins present in amyloid plaques and the important role they play in AD pathology.
