IHC 2021 | Comparing childhood and adult migraine

Andrew Hershey, MD, PhD, FAHS, University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, OH, discusses the importance of recognizing there is a difference between migraine in children and adults. This is because of brain development in children making it more difficult to understand and identify headaches. Prof. Hershey focuses on how treatment must be different in children and adolescents as it may be more difficult for them to engage and find the appropriate treatment. This interview took place during the International Headache Congress 2021.
