CONy 2020 | The potential of wearable devices in epilepsy

Andreas Schulze-Bonhage, MD, PhD, University Medical Center Freiburg, Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany, discusses the development of new devices to monitor epilepsy. These new devices enable long-term assessment of epilepsy patients and can be used to improve therapy. They can be used to alarm patients of seizures and gain more information about seizures. The use of these devices will change the field considerably. This interview took place during the Virtual World Congress on Controversies in Neurology (CONy) 2020.
