MS Frontiers 2022 | What is the role of a neuropharmacist?

Joela Mathews, MPharm, Barts Health NHS Trust, London, UK, talks on the growing role of neuropharmacists in the UK. As a relatively new specialism, there are very few highly specialized pharmacists focused on delivering pharmacy services to the neurosciences. In recent years, networks of neuropharmacists have been set up for support, collaboration, and mentorship. Dr Mathews comments on the importance of these networks and how the recognized value of neuropharmacists as part of neurology teams has grown.
