CONy 2020 | Psychotherapy: how should we treat psychogenic seizures?

Daniel Goldenholz, MD, PhD, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA, discusses the use of psychotherapy to treat patients with seizures of a psychogenic origin. Currently, there is no treatment for these patients as anti-seizure drugs prove ineffective. Therefore, despite minimal scientific evidence, psychotherapy could be an option. This interview took place during the Virtual World Congress on Controversies in Neurology (CONy) 2020.
