WCN 2021 | Spotlighting rare diseases at WCN 2021

Congress President, Antonio Federico, MD, PhD, University of Siena, Siena, Italy, talks on the emphasis on rare neurological diseases at the XXV World Congress of Neurology (WCN 2021), taking place virtually 3-7th October 2021. Following the recent formation of the World Federation of Neurology’s Specialty Group on Rare Neurologic Diseases, the congress hopes to highlight the importance of rare diseases and share the latest information. The meeting will feature several symposia on rare diseases, as well as a teaching course on the identification of rare causes of common neurologic illnesses, and a session focused on rare diseases in the new IDC11. This interview took place during the XXV World Congress of Neurology.
