Andrea Kühn, MD, PhD, Charité – University Medicine Berlin, Berlin, Germany, talks on the scientific developments and new applications of neuromodulation strategies. Prof. Kühn discusses the use of chronic recording as a major step towards adaptive deep brain stimulation. Research is also being conducted into how to use imaging for parameter optimization. This interview took place during the 2021 International Congress of Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders.
