Raphael Schneider, MD, PhD, FRCPC, CIP, St. Michael’s Hospital, Toronto, Canada, speaks on the future use of MRI markers to further our understanding and clinical management of multiple sclerosis (MS) and radiologically isolated syndrome (RIS). The paramagnetic rim sign and central vein sign are emerging as promising markers for MS and Dr Schneider hopes 3 Tesla (T) and 7T MRIs can be used in a clinical setting to better understand the disease.
