MDS 2020 | Remote management and telecommunications for movement disorders during COVID-19

Esther Cubo, MD, PhD, Hospital General Yague, Burgos, Spain, discusses how remote management, telecommunications and education have allowed for the continuation of care during the COVID-19 pandemic. Webinars presented by the Movement Disorder Society (MDS) have provided information about how to conduct remote management, telecommunications and neurological exams. The information provided is updated as regulations continue to change during the pandemic. Dr Cubo expresses how only in a few months we have managed to change care for movement disorders.
