MDS 2020 | Introduction to repeat expansion diseases

Henry Paulson, MD, PhD, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, introduces the topic of repeat expansion diseases which include ataxia, Huntington’s and intranuclear inclusion disorder. Prof. Paulson explains that the diseases are very complex due to the range of mutations and how different lengths of repeated genes can cause a variety of symptoms.
