Tiago Outeiro, PhD, University Medical Center Göttingen, Göttingen, Germany, highlights salient topics concerning the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases to be discussed at the European Academy of Neurology 2021 congress. These include updates on the recently FDA-approved antibody-based immunotherapy in Alzheimer’s disease, as well as updates on a trial investigating an antisense oligonucleotide in Huntington’s, which was prematurely concluded.
