Jack Tsao, MD, DPhil, FAAN, University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Memphis, TN, discusses major unanswered research questions in the field of traumatic brain injury (TBI). A major area of interest is injury recovery. Given the substantial variability in recovery periods between individuals, identifying predictors of recovery is important. Dr Tsao also discusses unknowns regarding chronic traumatic encephalopathy. This interview took place during the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) 2021 Annual Meeting.
