ECTRIMS 2022 | Current recommendations on MS treatment during pregnancy

Eva Kubala Havrdová, MD, PhD, General University Hospital, Charles University, Prague, Czechia, discusses pregnancy planning in patients with multiple sclerosis (MS). As more data becomes available on the use of MS therapies in pregnancy and during breastfeeding, clinicians and patients can better plan for pregnancies and make more informed choices. Some therapies can even be used during pregnancy and lactation, preventing patients from choosing between medication and breastfeeding. This interview took place at the European Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis (ECTRIMS) Congress 2022 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
