Shahram Majidi, MD, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York, NY, discusses the evolving landscape of stroke treatment, as well as remaining questions that research needs to address. In particular, Dr Majidi highlights the need for studies assessing the benefits of endovascular thrombectomy for distal occlusion and for patients with underlying dysfunction.
