IHC 2021 | The omics in migraine diagnosis and treatment

Lyn Griffiths, PhD, Queensland University of Technology, Queensland, Australia, discusses the impact omic technologies, such as genomics, epigenomics, and pharmacogenomics, can have on the diagnosis and treatment of migraine. Prof. Griffiths shares how genetic diagnostics testing can help distinguish between familial hemiplegic migraine patients from patients with an inherited stroke disorder, with similar migraine overlapping symptoms. This interview took place during the International Headache Congress 2021.
