AAN 2021 | Accelerating systematic learning with MS PATHS

Multiple Sclerosis Partners Advancing Technology and Health Solutions (MS PATHS) is a collaborative network of MS centers aiming to improve the standard of MS care through the generation of high-quality, real-world data. All centers contributing to MS PATHS use standardized digital clinical assessment and data collection methods to enable large-scale data aggregation and analysis. Carrie M. Hersh, DO, MSc, FAAN, Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health, Las Vegas, NV, talks on the implementation of the MS PATHS systems and its demonstrated benefits, having collected data from over 18,000 patients to date. The learning health system approach has the potential to accelerate systematic learning and inform clinician decision-making based on real-world data. This interview took place during the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) 2021 Annual Meeting.
