Medication-overuse headache (MOH) is well-known by clinicians. Vlasta Vukovic Cvetković, MD, PhD, University Hospital Glostrup, Danish Headache Center, Copenhagen, Denmark, discusses whether MOH is a distinct entity or a complication in the pathophysiology of primary headache disorders. Clinical studies, as well as findings from imaging studies, have shown entity-specific alterations in the brain. This interview took place at the 17th World Congress on Controversies in Neurology (CONy) in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
