AD/PD 2021 | A nation-wide program for dementia prevention in Luxembourg

Rejko Krüger, MD, University of Luxembourg, Belvaux, Luxembourg, outlines the successful implementation of a nation-wide program for dementia prevention in Luxembourg, Programme Demence Prevention (PDP). A growing body of evidence supports potentially modifiable risk factors for dementia. Therefore, based on an extensive cognitive evaluation and dementia risk factor assessment, participants are offered individualized lifestyle interventions to prevent dementia, including cognitive training, social integration, and dietary recommendations. The participants are followed-up annually to track changes over time. This interview took place during the AD/PD™ 2021 conference.
