CONy 2020 | The future to telemedicine in developed and developing countries

Martin Brodie, MD, University of Glasgow, Glasgow, UK, discusses how telemedicine can bridge the gap in healthcare across the world. In the wake of the pandemic, the increased use of telemedicine has highlighted the benefits of virtual consultations. By patients not coming into the clinic, there is more time for physicians to talk to their patients. Although there will still be times in which patients will have to come into the clinic, telemedicine has a firm place in the future of healthcare. This interview took place during the Virtual World Congress on Controversies in Neurology (CONy) 2020.
