Vinicius V. Montanaro, MD, MSc, PhD, SARAH Network of Rehabilitation Hospitals, Brasília, Brazil, highlights how universal scales and algorithms can be used to reduce global inequities in stroke. Numerous reliable diagnostic and prognostic tools have been developed that can be applied in any given setting. In this way, disparities in care due to lack of specialists or diagnostic infrastructure can be minimized. This interview took place at the World Stroke Congress 2022 in Singapore.
