CONy 2023 | Thromboprophylaxis among patients with intracerebral hemorrhage: unmet needs

Zsuzsa Bagoly, MD, PhD, University of Debrecen, Debrecen, Hungary, describes unmet needs in the management of patients with intracerebral hemorrhages. Uncertainty still exists regarding optimal anticoagulants, the timing of initiation, and dosage following hemorrhagic stroke. The development of predictive models to help clinical decision-making regarding thromboprophylaxis would be an important advancement in the management of those patients. This interview took place at the 17th World Congress on Controversies in Neurology (CONy) in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
