ACTRIMS 2021 | Barriers to access of MS care services for LATAM patients

Jorge Correale, MD, Raúl Carrea Institute for Neurological Research (FLENI), Buenos Aires, Argentina, discusses barriers to access of multiple sclerosis (MS) drugs and care services in Latin American (LATAM) patients. Most countries in Latin America are under development, which raises substantial socioeconomic challenges for patients with MS. Treatment costs, satisfactory drug testing and treatment switching are all challenges highlighted by Dr Correale. This interview took place during the ACTRIMS Forum 2021.
