Luiza Spiru, MD, PhD, Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Bucharest, Romania, discusses the challenges in the field of stress and dementia. Stress and dementia is a relatively young field with first major publications less than 10 years ago. Additionally, medical teams need to be trained to evaluate and analyze potential stressors that are related to the early onset of pathological brain aging. This interview took place during the Virtual World Congress on Controversies in Neurology (CONy) 2020.
