Arik Johnson, PsyD, Huntington’s Disease Society of America, discusses the mission and vision of the Huntington’s Disease Society of America (HDSA), a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of all who are affected by Huntington’s disease (HD). The society runs numerous mission programs, including advocacy, research, community engagement, and education initiatives. Their vision is simple: a world free of HD. As Chief Mission Officer, Dr Johnson comments on how the HDSA aim to support the patient and research communities by improving care, providing resources, raising awareness, and advancing knowledge.
