ECTRIMS 2022 | Data-sharing in network neuroscience: an emerging trend

Lucina Qazi Uddin, PhD, UCLA Brain Research Institute, Los Angeles, CA, highlights an emerging trend in network neuroscience. Investigators have noted the importance of having large sample sizes to generalize results across different disorders. Therefore, there has been an increase in data-sharing between laboratories around the world. Although this trend presents challenges, particularly the standardization of the methods used, it allows the collection of bigger and more significant data samples necessary to characterize heterogeneity across disorders. This interview took place at the European Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis (ECTRIMS) Congress 2022 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
