MDS 2020 | Developments in Parkinson’s disease research and PASADENA clinical trial update

Tiago Outeiro, PhD, University Medical Center Göttingen, Göttingen, Germany, discusses recent developments in Parkinson’s disease research. Further development has been made in preclinical trials to expand our use of antibodies. The clinical trial PASADENA (NCT03100149) has also released preliminary results. Although the overall outcome was negative, some measures show promising clear effects. Thus, we need to continue developing our understanding of Parkinson’s disease.
