ECTRIMS 2022 | Future research on cognitive rehabilitation interventions for MS patients

Yael Goverover, OTR/L, PhD, New York University, New York, NY, shares recommendations for future research on cognitive rehabilitation interventions for patients with multiple sclerosis (MS). Cognitive training interventions should combine both strategy-based training and the restorative approach to not only have improvements in cognition but also to translate them into everyday activities. Those interventions need to be more patient-centered and personalized based on their goals. This interview took place at the European Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis (ECTRIMS) Congress 2022 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
