The field of autoimmune neurology is rapidly expanding with novel discoveries about the pathophysiological mechanisms, diagnosis, and treatment of autoimmune disorders of the nervous system. A more detailed and comprehensive understanding of the disease mechanisms and the increased number of available immunotherapies make it a very complex field. Therefore, dedicated clinical and translational training is crucial to better understand how antibodies are validated and tested and their limitations.
