MDS 2021 | PD_PAL: developing new standards of palliative care in Parkinson’s disease

The PD_PAL project is working to develop new standards of palliative care in Parkinson’s disease (PD) across Europe. By validating a new comprehensive model of care for patients whose quality of life, mobility, or independence is limited by their disability, PD_PAL hopes to improve on current care practices. The PD_Pal Clinical Study has been set up to evaluate the clinical and cost effectiveness of new a community-based outpatient palliative care intervention for people with PD and their family caregiver.
