EAN 2021 | Tools for the diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease

Wiesje van der Flier, PhD, VU University Medical Center, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, discusses the tools available for the diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease. These range from questionnaires for psychological assessment to lab tests, including magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), amyloid Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and tau PET scans. This interview took place during the European Academy of Neurology 2021 congress.
