CONy 2022 | Future directions of neurostimulation

Roi Cohen Kadosh, PhD, University of Surrey, Guilford, UK, discusses the future directions of neurostimulation in health and disease. Personalized brain stimulation is the future of the field. With the methodological approach utilized for customized treatment, Prof. Cohen Kadosh states that it will be possible to provide treatment from a home setting. This would allow for greater data acquisition from a more heterogeneous population whilst being a cheaper alternative – thus, allowing for the development of better treatment options in the future. This interview was conducted during the 2022 World Congress on Controversies in Neurology (CONy) meeting.
