Bruce Ovbiagele, MD, MSc, FAAN, University of California, San Francisco, CA, discusses brain health equity, a very relevant issue as the population ages and the incidence of various neurological conditions correlate with age. In addition, the demographics of the population are changing in terms of race and ethnicity. As both those factors change, disparities in neurological diseases will increase. Dr Ovbiagele describes different solutions for interventions and how they might be at the level of the social determinants of health. This interview took place during the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) 2021 Annual Meeting.
