EAN 2021 | Surrogate markers of disease activity in MS

Dana Horakova, MD, PhD, Charles University in Prague, Prague, Czech Republic, discusses the difficulties of evaluating disease activity in patients with multiple sclerosis (MS). The use of good surrogate markers, such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and neurofilament light chain, is an important step towards personalized treatment for patients. This interview took place during the European Academy of Neurology 2021 congress.
