CONy 2020 | Symptomatic extracranial vertebral artery stenosis: proximal stenting should be standard

Laszlo Csiba, MD, PhD, DSci, University of Debrecen, Debrecen, Hungary, discusses why symptomatic extracranial vertebral artery stenosis should be stented. Having researched and read through the literature, Dr Csiba concludes that if a patient has visible symptoms of stenosis, then proximal stenting should be standard. This interview took place during the Virtual World Congress on Controversies in Neurology (CONy) 2020.
